Global Humanitarian Crisis

Scotland Responds

Scotland is ready and willing to do all that we can to help Refugees.

— Nicola Sturgeon, First Minister of Scotland

THIS SUMMER HAS SEEN THE BIGGEST MASS MOVEMENT OF PEOPLE SINCE THE SECOND WORLD WAR.

Millions of men, women and children around the world have been forced to leave their homes fleeing widespread violence, persecution and human rights abuses.

These people are refugees and they are desperate for our help.

In response to this global humanitarian crisis, the people of Scotland have shown huge amounts of compassion and empathy. People are pledging to support refugees in any way they can.

This website will be a place to find out more about the crisis and more about what Scotland is doing to help. You will also be able to make offers of practical support to refugees in Scotland here.
